Welcome to Go Smart Driving School (“we,” “our,” “us”). By accessing or using our website, services, or enrolling in any driving instruction programs, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website or registering for any of our services, you confirm that:

  • You are at least the legal age required to participate in driving instruction in your jurisdiction.
  • The information you provide is accurate and complete.
  • You agree to comply with all terms outlined in this document.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please discontinue use of our services.

2. Services Provided

Go Smart Driving School provides:

  • In-car driving lessons
  • Road test preparation
  • Other driver-training related services

We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue any service at any time without prior notice.

3. Eligibility Requirements

Participants must:

  • Hold a valid learner’s permit or driver’s license as required for specific lessons.
  • Meet all state or regional eligibility requirements.
  • Follow all safety directions from instructors.

We may refuse service if a student is impaired, unfit to drive, or violates safety policies.

4. Payment & Refund Policy

4.1 Payments

All payments must be completed before lessons begin unless otherwise specified. We accept the payment methods listed on our website.

4.2 Cancellations & Rescheduling

Learners should provide at least 48 hours’ notice if they need to cancel or rearrange a driving lesson. Where insufficient notice is provided, the lesson fee may still be payable. Exceptions may be considered at GoSmart Driving School’s discretion depending on the circumstances.

4.3 Refunds

Any refund due for prepaid lessons will be considered in accordance with the circumstances and applicable consumer law. Lessons that have already been provided are non-refundable. Any outstanding charges for late cancellations or other amounts properly due may be deducted from a refund where applicable.

5. Student Responsibilities

Students agree to:

  • Arrive on time with required documents (license/permit).
  • Follow all driving laws and safety instructions.
  • Behave respectfully toward instructors and staff.
  • Not attend lessons under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or impairing medications.

Failure to comply may result in cancellation of lessons without refund.

6. Instructor Availability & Scheduling

Lesson availability is subject to instructor, vehicle, location and scheduling availability. GoSmart Driving School will make reasonable efforts to accommodate preferred lesson times but cannot guarantee specific dates, times or instructors. Lessons may occasionally need to be rearranged due to illness, vehicle problems, adverse weather, emergencies or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

7. Driving Tests & Test-Day Services

GoSmart Driving School cannot guarantee that a learner will pass their practical driving test. The decision on whether a learner is ready to use an instructor’s vehicle for a driving test will take account of safety, the learner’s driving standard and the instructor’s professional judgement. Test-day vehicle availability is subject to prior agreement and instructor availability. Additional charges may apply for test-day services.

8. Website Use

By using our website, you agree not to:

  • Use it for unlawful purposes.
  • Attempt to disrupt, hack, or compromise its performance.
  • Copy or reproduce any content without permission.

All website content—including text, images, logos, and materials—is the property of Go Smart Driving School and protected by copyright laws.

9. Privacy Policy

10. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under UK law. GoSmart Driving School will not be responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or for delays or disruption caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Go Smart Driving School harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

  • Your misuse of our services
  • Violation of laws or these Terms
  • Negligent or unsafe behavior during lessons

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes become effective once posted on our website. Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be dealt with by the courts having jurisdiction under applicable law.
